Pressure!!!
Pressure is one of the most important things when heat pressing DTF transfers. Make sure your press has adjustable pressure and is capable of reaching 60-80PSI.
Pneumatic Press
A pneumatic press is the best option for DTF Transfers - but not required. If you want the best option and it's within your budget- choose pneumatic. If it's not in your budget just make sure you choose a press that is capable of heavy pressure.
Other Things To Consider
- Plate Size - We recommend a 15X15 at minimum. 16X24 is ideal if you plan to make larger items or oversized transfers.
- Automatic Open - This is not a requirement but something to consider. When your business grows and you're bulk pressing shirts, you will want an auto open press. Your back will thank you!
- Textured Teflon & magnets for your heat plate so you don't have to remove your cover sheet every time. You can leave the teflon on your press for your pre-press, press, and second press.
